Control Engineer

Job Description

To Handle PTO Machining FTPM Operations and support new launch programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance activities of Machining Shop.
• Sound Knowledge on Siemens CNC 840 Dsl / S7 PLC / VFD's / Siemens Profibus / ProfNet / RFID system- Control System, ABB Robots, Atlas Copco nut runner, Gantry systems etc.
• Should have maintenance experience handling different Special purpose machines (Grinding / DC nut runners / Leak testing machines).
• Able to coordinate with production / Quality to achieve the best results.
• Lead and manage group of Team Leaders, Skilled & Semiskilled team members
• Drive improvement actions on Safety, quality, delivery, cost, Morale and environment.
• Analysis of the M / c breakdown failures & countermeasure plans.
• Should follow ISO, QS & FPS standards.
• Exposure in Predictive maintenance activities.
• Should have good knowledge in Pneumatics / Hydraulics.
• Sound knowledge in Robots
• Coordinate and support for new launch activities
• Manage maintenance activities of Engine Assembly line & Machine Shop.
• Capable of studying layouts and installation / Commissioning of Machinery.
• Able to plan wear & spare parts and procurement of the same.
• Should have in depth knowledge in about Machine constructions.
• Should have SPC knowledge to monitor the machines in optimized way.
• Able to train subordinates in respected areas.
• Monitor and manage skill and versatility matrices of the teams.
• Project management – Plan, lead, monitor and achieve project deliverables in a timely manner.
• Drive improvement actions on Safety, quality, cost, delivery, environment, and moral
• Analysis of the M / c breakdown failures & countermeasure plans.
• Involvement in Work Group activities and improvement in line activities.
• Exposure on Laser Hardening machine, laser marking machining having certification of Laser safety officer.

Education Qualification : B.E / DEE

Number of Years of Experience : (B.E ) 5-8 Years of relevant work experience DEE (10-15 years of relevant experience

Professional Exposure : Functional Experience in CNC Maintenance.

Skill & Knowledge requirement : Experience in PLC and Servo drives Programming and controls system handling.
