DevOps Engineer - Cloud Services

About the Role :

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application and cloud security, be capable of mentoring junior engineers, and have expertise in optimizing platform's infrastructure.

Role and Responsibility :

• Infrastructure Management : Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable infrastructure on AWS and GCP (Firebase, RTDB).
• Microservices Management : Support 20+ microservices in a Service-oriented Architecture (SoA).
• Cloud and Application Security : Implement and improve cloud and application security practices to ensure the platform's resilience.
• Networking : Configure and manage networking components such as VPN, NAT, VPC, ensuring secure connectivity between Cloud and branch networks.
• Monitoring & Logging : Leverage tools like New Relic, Graylog, Sentry, and Bugsnag for performance monitoring, logging, and error tracking.
• CI / CD Pipelines : Develop and optimize CI / CD pipelines for faster, safer code deployments.
• Mentorship : Provide mentorship to junior DevOps and product engineers on infrastructure design and security best practices.
• Automation : Enhance automation in infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and recovery using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Database Management : Manage and optimize databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis.
