Job summary
The Integration Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing seamless integrations between DigiCert's security products and enterprise applications—including Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, cloud platforms, DevOps tools, and SIEM / SOAR solutions to enable certificate lifecycle automation.
What you will do
- Design and implement integrations between DigiCert security solutions and enterprise IT systems, enhancing capabilities through scripting and Java plugin customizations tailored to client requirements.
- Apply a proactive approach to security, leveraging industry best practices to architect and deploy solutions that address customer needs and reduce risk.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of DigiCert's security products and their technical functionalities.
- Create detailed implementation documentation, including architectural and network diagrams.
- Gather and relay customer feedback and feature requests to the Product Management team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Professional Services by developing reusable assets like plugins and scripts.
- Travel to client locations and industry events as needed to support departmental goals.
- Act as an internal service provider for the Professional services team to deliver the new integrations via product extensibility
- Maintaining the repository for the newly built integrations and enable internal teams, partners, and customers on new integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integrations delivered for extensibility.
What you will have
1-2 years of experience in integrating IT systems and solutions including extending functionality via scripting and customizationsBachelor's degree in systems management, Computer Science, or CybersecurityFluent in writing and speaking EnglishExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to engage in continuous learning and apply strong analytical skills to develop innovative solutions for complex challengesAbility to work independently and collaboratively with other team membersStrong understanding of Git and experience managing code through GitHub.Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI / CD workflows.Familiarity with OpenSSL, cURL and SQL statementsExperience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell, and Unix scripts)Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Java, Go)Comfortable with REST API integrationsHands on experience using and managing Windows Server 2019+ and LinuxKnowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and LDAPUnderstanding of computer networking concepts and hands on experience in troubleshooting network related issuesNice to have
