Job description

For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for 2x Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle APEX applications in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Candidates need to have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development.

We are looking for a contractor. This position is long-term. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle-based applications;
Enhance existing applications to meet evolving business requirements;
Develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and / or APEX;
Collaborate with team members to propose and review technical solutions;
Implement code changes, perform unit testing, and support business teams during user acceptance testing, in accordance with change management policies;
Create and maintain ERDs and technical documentation;
Support integration of Power BI with Dremio;.

Profile :

Bachelor or Master degree;

6 / +8 years of experience as an Oracle Apex Developer;

Strong development skills with Oracle 19c and PL / SQL (procedures, functions, database objects);

Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and Ajax;

Experience developing web-based applications using Oracle APEX;

Knowledge with Power BI for dashboard and report development;

Exposure to tools like PL / SQL Developer, TOAD;

Experience with Power BI / Oracle APEX reporting tools (preferred);

Knowledge of integrating Dremio with Power BI;

Knowledge of Python scripting (a plus);

Fluent in English;
