Job Title :

Tech Lead – Backend (Partner Integrations)

Location : Bangalore

Job Description :

We are seeking a Backend Tech Lead to lead our Partner Integrations and Last-Mile Delivery initiatives. This role requires deep backend expertise, ownership of integration workflows, and mentoring capabilities. The Tech Lead will design scalable architectures to support marketplace onboarding, aggregator connections, workflow standardization, and last-mile delivery systems, including experience integrating with partners.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of backend systems for marketplace and aggregator integrations.

Oversee development of adapters, transformations, webhook / event mapping systems.

Design and implement last-mile delivery integrations, including order management, routing, and dispatch optimization.

Collaborate with product managers to align roadmaps with technical design.

Integrate external delivery platforms such as Google ODRD and other logistics partners.

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and best practices.

Contribute hands-on to backend coding and architecture reviews.

Ensure observability, error handling, and CI / CD processes are in place.

Support scalability, security, and resilience improvements in production systems.

Work with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless end-to-end last-mile delivery experiences.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of backend development experience with 1+ years in Technical leadership.

Expertise in Java, C#, or Node.js.

Expertise with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Strong knowledge of REST APIs, workflow automation, and databases.

Hands-on integration experience with external platforms such as Google ODRD or equivalent.

Expertise-on experience with AWS / Azure cloud infra.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in fintech, SaaS, logistics, or marketplace ecosystems.

Background in compliance and security-heavy environments.

Familiarity with dispatch, routing, or delivery optimization algorithms.

Experience building and scaling last-mile delivery or logistics systems.

Key Soft Skills

Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.

Effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams.

Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Ability to drive consensus and manage cross-team dependencies.
