Job description

Job Role : Junior Web Analytics Developer

Location : Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain web analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Develop and deploy custom tracking scripts and tags using Tag Management Systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager).
  • Collaborate with developers, marketers, and designers to ensure accurate tracking of website activities and user behaviors.
  • Create and manage dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insights.
  • Monitor website performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct debugging and testing of tracking codes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Assist in setting up A / B tests and multivariate experiments to optimize website performance.
  • Set up and validate tags to ensure accurate data collection across websites and apps.
  • Integrate analytics tools with CRM systems and third-party platforms to consolidate data sources.
  • Write custom scripts using JavaScript, SQL, or other technologies to enable advanced tracking and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in JavaScript or any equivalent frontend framework (must be comfortable writing custom codes, DOM attributes, HTML, and basic CSS).
  • Familiarity with APIs — understanding how to read JSON, basic GET / POST logic, and integrate into workflows.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to work in dynamic environments.
  • Effective written communication skills for documentation and clarity in logic.

  • JavaScript (strong foundation required).
  • HTML / CSS.
  • Google Sheets / Excel.
  • Understanding of how APIs work (good documentation readers).
  • Understanding of how websites work.

  • Digital analytics basics.
  • SQL familiarity.
  • Dashboarding tools like Looker Studio, Power BI.
