Key Responsibilities :
SAP PP & QM Implementation And Support
- Lead and execute end-to-end SAP S/4HANA PP & QM implementations, upgrades, and support engagements.
- Participate in blueprint, realization, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support phases.
- Translate business requirements into SAP PP & QM functional designs and & Production Planning (PP) :
- Configure and support MRP, MRP areas, demand management, BOM, routings, work centers, and production orders.
- Support Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) production strategies.
- Enable shop floor control, production confirmations, and capacity planning.
- Integrate PP processes with PM for maintenance planning and execution.
- Configure Incoming Inspection, In-Process Inspection, Finished Goods Inspection, and Dispatch Inspection.
- Design and implement inspection types, inspection plans, sampling procedures, and quality info records.
- Configure and manage rejection processes, defect recording, usage decisions, and quality notifications.
- Enable batch management and traceability for quality-critical materials.
- Support integration of QM with procurement, production, and delivery processes.
- Ensure seamless integration of PP & QM with SD, MM, PM, and FI/CO.
- Work closely with ABAP teams for reports, enhancements, forms, and interfaces.
- Support data migration, master data governance, and validation activities.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and technical/functional documentation.
- Lead and support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and prepare training materials.
Mandatory Technical Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PP & QM configuration
- Deep manufacturing process knowledge including :
- MRP & shop floor control
- Batch management & quality inspections
- Procurement & production integration
- Expertise in :
- Incoming, in-process, finished goods, and dispatch inspections
- Rejection handling and defect recording
- Strong integration knowledge with SD, MM, PP, PM
- Experience with end-to-end SAP implementation cycles
- Exposure to RISE with SAP
- Basic understanding of ABAP debugging and enhancements
- Experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversions
- Industry experience in manufacturing, automotive, pharma, FMCG, or process industries
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, or related discipline
- SAP PP / QM certification preferred
- 5+ years of overall SAP experience
- At least 1 full-cycle SAP implementation
- Experience in implementation, upgrades, and support projects
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management exposure
