    The Role Senior Sales Manager (Revenue Leader)

    We are seeking a Seasoned, Smart, and Relentless Sales Manager to lead our Upskilling & Executive Education division, own the revenue charter, and deliver record-breaking results.

    This is a high-impact P&L role reporting directly to the CEO.

    You will lead from the front, coach your team on advanced sales tactics, personally close high-ticket deals (5L25L), and build a sales culture grounded in discipline, hunger, and accountability.

    Top performers will be fast-tracked to Director Upskilling Division within 6 months.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own 100% of the revenue targets no excuses, only outcomes.
    • Strategize, plan, and execute sales playbooks and closing tactics that drive predictable revenue growth.
    • Coach and inspire a team of Inside Sales Managers and Counselors to operate like elite performers target-driven, high-energy, and outcome-obsessed.
    • Join live sales calls, demonstrate world-class selling, and close high-value deals personally.
    • Continuously monitor sales metrics, conversions, and pipeline health using CRM (TeleCRM / Zoho / HubSpot).
    • Create a performance-driven culture of never say no and find a way" within the sales team.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve lead quality, messaging, and conversion efficiency.
    • Stay hands-on with every funnel — from lead to demo, demo to closure, and closure to collection — ensuring no leakages.
    • Build sales scripts, objection handling frameworks, and urgency triggers that boost conversion ratios.
    • Ideal Candidate Profile

    • 10+ years of hardcore EdTech sales experience in organizations such as UpGrad, TimesPro, Great Learning, Emritus, Jaro Education, Talensprint, Imarticus, or similar firms.
    • Proven track record of selling high-ticket programs (1L–25L) — MBAs, Executive Certificates, PG Diplomas, and Doctorates.
    • A true revenue owner — thrives on big numbers, builds plans to hit them, and never backs down.
    • A natural motivator and coach who can instill passion, persistence, and purpose in the sales team.
    • Strong understanding of consultative and ROI-based selling, with exceptional closing skills.
    • Demonstrated success in working with high-performance cultures under aggressive growth goals.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
    • Must be highly organized, self-driven, emotionally resilient, and obsessed with results.
    • Someone who doesn't just manage — but sells, leads, and inspires.
