Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Application Developer with a strong focus on Workday solutions to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Workday applications and integrations, ensuring they align with our business objectives and HR processes. This role requires deep expertise in Workday Core HCM, Advanced Reporting, and People Analytics, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and system optimization.
Key Responsibilities :
Workday Solution Development : Design, configure, develop, and maintain Workday solutions across various modules, with a primary focus on Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Talent, and Payroll integrations.
Reporting & Analytics : Develop and optimize complex Workday Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, and Calculated Fields. Create compelling dashboards and leverage Workday People Analytics to provide actionable insights to HR and business leaders.
Application Customization : Lead the customization and enhancement of existing Workday applications to meet evolving business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Integration Management : Design, build, test, and support Workday integrations using various tools and techniques such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Web Services (REST / SOAP). Ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other internal / external systems.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting : Provide expert-level technical support, diagnose, and resolve complex Workday-related issues, including system errors, data discrepancies, and integration failures.
Collaboration : Partner closely with HR business partners, system administrators, and other IT teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver robust solutions.
Testing & Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of all Workday developments and configurations.
Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, test plans, and support procedures.
Security & Compliance : Ensure all Workday configurations and developments adhere to data security best practices and compliance regulations.
Continuous Improvement : Stay abreast of new Workday features, releases, and best practices, proactively recommending and implementing enhancements to improve system efficiency and functionality.
Required Qualifications
Experience : 5 to 8 years of professional experience in application development, with a significant portion specifically dedicated to Workday.

HR Domain Knowledge : Strong understanding of core HR processes and concepts (e.g., Hire to Retire, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, Talent Management).
Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
