Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Infrastructure & Reporting Manager to lead and oversee the management of Oracle-based reporting and middleware platforms within a banking environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Oracle technologies along with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. This role is more focused on platform governance, vendor coordination, performance monitoring, and strategic planning rather than hands-on development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the Oracle reporting infrastructure including Oracle Analytics Publisher, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Database.
- Lead the administration and optimization of Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle WebLogic, and Oracle JDK environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of Oracle platforms.
- Drive compliance and audit readiness for Oracle systems in alignment with banking regulations and IT policies.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address capacity planning, patching, and upgrades.
- Act as a technical advisor to business units for reporting and data access requirements.
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of Oracle-based applications.
- Prepare and present regular reports on system health, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
5- 9 years of experience in Oracle technology stack within enterprise environments.Strong working knowledge of : Oracle Analytics Publisher, Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle JDK, Oracle Reports, Oracle Database (administration and performance tuning).Proven experience in managing Oracle platforms in a regulated industry, preferably banking or financial services.Excellent understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor Qualifications :Oracle certifications (e.g., OCP, OCA) are a plus.Experience with ITIL practices and service management tools.Exposure to cloud-based Oracle deployments or hybrid environments.Familiarity with banking domain-specific reporting and data governance requirements.(ref : hirist.tech)
