Job Summary :
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SAP SD-BP (Business Partner) Consultant with a minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). The ideal candidate will have deep, hands-on expertise in SAP SD functionalities, its integration with other modules, and specific experience with the Business Partner (BP) model in both ECC and S / 4HANA environments.
This role requires a professional who can analyze complex business requirements, design optimal solutions, and lead the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications within an agile framework.
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Design & Development :
- Gather and analyze business requirements, then design and develop optimal SAP solutions that meet business needs. This includes translating functional designs into custom development and providing technical support for the SAP sales and distribution functions.
Functional & Technical Expertise :
Be accountable for understanding core business processes and performing technical analysis to identify impacts in the SAP SD module and other integrated areas.You will be responsible for resolving complex requirements through system configuration and effective solutioning.Project & Support Leadership :
Drive leadership for the delivery of enhancements and maintenance of existing applications, actively participating in an Agile / DevOps support model.You will work with business users and other IT teams to ensure changes are implemented effectively, with a focus on optimizing services and improving quality.Master Data & Core SD Processes :
Possess hands-on expertise with key SAP SD functionalities. This includes Order Management (sales orders, contracts, consignments), Delivery / Shipping, Billing, Credit / Debit Memos, Rebates, and Pricing.You must have extensive experience with Customer Master data, including partner functions and all associated configuration.Integration & Troubleshooting :
A critical part of the role is managing integration, especially via EDI.You must be proficient in debugging, batch jobs, and IDoc / output processing to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless data flow across the landscape.Required Skills & Qualifications :
7+ years of relevant experience in SAP, with a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).Hands-on experience with the SAP Business Partner (BP) model and its implementation.Expertise in key SAP SD processes : order management, delivery / shipping, billing, pricing, and customer master data.A strong understanding of SAP integration, particularly with Finance (FI-CO) and Materials Management (MM).Proven experience with EDI, IDoc / output processing, debugging, and batch job management.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork, and the ability to work in an agile framework with minimal supervision.Preferred Skills :
Experience with SAP S / 4HANA.Knowledge of SAP MDG (Master Data Governance), specifically for Business Partner.Exposure to SAP Fiori.Familiarity with ITIL processes.(ref : hirist.tech)
