Key responsibilities

Instruction : Plan and deliver lessons on music theory, vocal techniques, and instrumental skills, adapting teaching methods for different learning styles.

Performance : Rehearse with and lead students in musical groups such as choirs, orchestras, or bands, and organize performances and concerts.

Assessment : Evaluate student progress through assignments, practical exams, and feedback to help them improve their musical abilities.

Curriculum development : Contribute to curriculum development, stay updated on educational policies, and potentially integrate music into cross-curricular projects.

Classroom management : Maintain a productive and positive learning environment, setting behavioral standards and ensuring student safety.

Collaboration and administration : Coordinate with school administration, other educators, and parents. This can include recommending instrument maintenance and managing schedules.
