Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor - Sales located in Kolkata. The Academic Counselor will call the leads to create center walkins, assist students in identifying their academic and career goals, providing guidance in course selection, and discussing potential career paths. The role involves offering personalized counseling sessions, fostering relationships with students, and maintaining a thorough understanding of educational programs offered by the organization. The Academic Counselor will also participate actively in sales-related activities to promote the organization‘s educational offerings and assist students in enrolling in suitable programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Student Counseling, Academic Advising, and Career Counseling
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge in Education systems and trends
• Ability to build rapport with students and understand their academic and career-related needs
• Sales acumen and the ability to guide students in making informed decisions
• Previous experience in academic counseling, admissions, or educational sales will be a plus
• A positive attitude, problem-solving approach, and ability to work collaboratively in a team
