Senior Sales Development Representative
What We Do
BioSales partners with CROs and other service-based life science organizations to provide end-to-end sales and go-to-market support leading the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
The Impact You’ll Have
We’re looking for a results-driven Senior Sales Development Representative to support our inbound and outbound efforts and generate qualified opportunities for the Business Development Directors you will partner with. This role requires a PhD in Biotechnology, Biology, Genetics, or another closely related scientific field.
As the first point of contact with prospects, you will excel at researching accounts, initiating conversations, and setting the sales team up for success.
This role includes the opportunity to begin with three dotted-line direct reports, transitioning to full reporting responsibility after six-nine months based on performance.
You’ll deliver a world-class customer experience by demonstrating strong product understanding, developing meaningful value propositions, and engaging prospects through cold calling, emailing, and social selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Use our sales tech stack, cold calling, outbound email, and social selling to generate qualified opportunities
- Leverage technical knowledge and value-based messaging to build a high-quality pipeline from cold and warm outreach
- Stay current on industry trends and technology developments to act as a trusted resource for prospects
- Work cross-functionally with Sales to develop and execute account strategies and outreach plans
- Prospect, educate, and qualify potential customers to create sales-ready opportunities
- Schedule meetings between prospective clients and Business Development Directors
- Use your scientific background, to follow up consistently with messaging tailored to targeted segments and personas

6+ years in an SDR, BDR, or sales role preferably in a life sciences organizationProven record of meeting or exceeding monthly / quarterly targetsAbility to thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentPrior sales training, methodologies, or structured sales process exposureHighly self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented with a proactive mindsetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of the life sciences or healthcare sector (highly preferred)MS in Biotechnology, Biology, Genetics, or related field (PhD preferred)Required : outbound sales experiencePreferred : inside sales experienceProficiency with , Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and G SuiteCompetitive, self-motivated, and able to adapt to evolving business needs
