This is a full-time, on-site role for a Test Lead located in Bengaluru.
The Test Lead will be responsible for managing test processes, executing test plans, developing test strategies, conducting testing, and ensuring quality assurance.
The Test Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and drive continuous improvement in testing :
- Test Management and Test Execution skills.

Key Responsibilities :
Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and frameworks aligned with project requirements.Select and apply appropriate testing methodologies (manual, automation, performance, regression, etc.).Manage and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.Ensure defect management, root cause analysis, and closure.Maintain high-quality standards by enforcing QA best practices.Lead, mentor, and guide a team of test engineers to deliver project goals.Allocate tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones.Facilitate knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.Work closely with developers, DevOps, product owners, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery.Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and project review meetings.Provide timely and clear communication on testing progress, risks, and issues.Advocate automation-first approaches to improve testing efficiency.Identify opportunities to optimize testing processes, tools, and frameworks.Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, cloud testing practices, and tools.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Strong expertise in Test Management, Test Execution, and Defect Lifecycle Management.Proficiency in creating and executing Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Cases.Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing.Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile / Scrum methodologies.Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright).Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Experience in API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).Exposure to performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).Experience testing cloud-based applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and SaaS platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation abilities.Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Certification in ISTQB / CSTE / Agile Testing.Experience in DevOps-driven testing or cloud testing environments.Exposure to security testing.(ref : hirist.tech)
