Backend Java Developer

Job Description

Build and maintain core backend services powering companies' analytical and digital products : data ingestion, processing pipelines, analytics, and APIs consumed by dashboards and mobile apps.

Responsibilities -

Develop robust, scalable RESTful services using Java and Spring Boot.

Implement data ingestion and processing from instruments, third-party feeds and batch sources.

Design database schemas and optimize queries for performance.

Implement authentication / authorization and data security controls.

• Create automated tests and support CI / CD deployments.

Troubleshoot production incidents and optimize system performance.

Requirements

Strong Java (4+) and Spring ecosystem knowledge

Good understanding of RDBMS (Postgres / MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL

Proven experience building production microservices

Experience with unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito)

Version control (Git) and CI / CD tooling
