What is the role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure while optimizing development and deployment processes. This role goes beyond traditional DevOps and aligns closely with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, focusing on automation, reliability, and efficiency. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows, improve system performance, and ensure high availability and security.

Responsibilities-

In this role, you will :

• Automate and optimize development & release processes by implementing and managing CI / CD pipelines for seamless integration, testing, and deployment.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and maintain applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring and observability practices with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog to ensure system performance and application health.
• Ensure infrastructure and applications adhere to security best practices and are protected against cybersecurity threats.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, performing deep root cause analysis to improve system stability and reliability.
• Build internal tools and automate workflows to enhance efficiency and developer productivity.
• Collaborate with software engineers, SREs, and product teams to integrate DevOps best practices.
• Design and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP, optimizing performance and cost-efficiency.
