Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SAP IS-U and / or S / 4HANA Utilities Developer with the energy sector to join our dynamic team . As a SAP IS-U and / or S / 4HANA Utilities Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining maintaining the Systems for our Customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Implement and configure SAP Utilities functionalities
- Develop and enhance ABAP-based solutions, interfaces (e.g., IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData), and BAdIs / user exits to support business processes
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Conduct unit tests, support integration and user acceptance testing, and ensure documentation of developed solutions
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing custom ABAP developments and ensure long-term sustainability and performance
- Work in agile project teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with quality and performance standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer sience, or a related fieldProven experience as a Developer, preferably within the Utilities domainStrong proficiency in SAP Utilities processes and data-model.Experience with Badl Enhancment.Experience with Adobe Forms and Webdynpros.Experience with SAP IS-U / S / 4HANA Utilities customization and configuration. Utilities Data Model (“IS-U House”) Nice to have : Good Knowledge of IDEX DE or MaCo Cloud, Common Layer or APE-FrameworkStrong understanding of utilities processes. Nice to have : Good knowledge of German regulatory requirementsExcellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Experience with cross-functional collaboration, translating business needs into system solutions.Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to proactively drive topics, make sound decisions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
