Role : Sr Service Now Developer
We are looking for a dynamic Sr ServiceNow Developer to lead the design and hands-on development of scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This hybrid role involves deep technical leadership, end-to-end solution architecture, and development across ITSM and other ServiceNow :
- Define ServiceNow architecture, ensuring alignment with business and technical strategies.
- Design scalable and reusable components across modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom applications.
- Create technical designs and data models that ensure maintainability and performance.
- Develop custom applications, integrations, and modules using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and Flow Designer.
- Customize forms, workflows, UI policies, client scripts, and business rules.
- Build REST / SOAP integrations with third-party platforms and internal systems.
- Leverage ServiceNow App Engine, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer for automation and low-code development.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and platform standards.
- Lead platform upgrades, performance tuning, and security hardening.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues in collaboration with support teams.
- Guide junior developers and ensure knowledge transfer across the team.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and drive best practices in ServiceNow :
- 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and designing along with strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.
- Experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations using REST / SOAP, Integration Hub, and MID Server.
- Hands-on with ACLs, Service Portal, Custom Widgets, and Scoped Applications.
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum delivery models and version control tools (like Git).
- Experience in ServiceNow Flow Designer, UI Policies, and Business Rules.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, etc.).
- Experience in ServiceNow integration with enterprise applications (e.g., Jira, Active Directory, AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Asset Management.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Knowledge of Service Portal customization and UI / UX :
- ServiceNow CSA (mandatory), CAD, CIS-ITSM / CSM / HRSD (preferred).
- Exposure to Generative AI capabilities & Performance Analytics.
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines for ServiceNow.
- Experience with ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping, or AIOps is a plus.
- ITIL v3 / v4 certification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
