TCS is hiring for Informatica Support Engineer (Unix Shell, Oracle)

Desired experience range : 4 to 10 years

Job location : Hyderabad

Required skill set :

ETL and Cloud Tools – PowerCenter Informatica, IICS, CA7 scheduler / Autosys, ServiceNow / any other ticketing tool, Linux basics, Databases – Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server

Must have :

Good hands-on experience in Handling incidents (P1, P2, P3, P4) and issues related to ETL workflow failures, ability to categorize the issues as source, connectivity, design, scheduling, data issues. Knowledge of Linux basics and job scheduling tools. Basic understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing. Familiarity with SQL for querying and troubleshooting.

Good to have : ITIL, SNOW, Dynatrace

Responsibilities :

1 Monitor and manage ETL jobs and data pipelines using tools like Informatica and IICS.

2 Identify and escalate abended jobs to technical expert teams, follow the instructions to resolve the issues.

Categorize, log and troubleshoot the issues as source system, connectivity (DB / network), design, scheduling, bad data or performance issues

3 Ability to analyze SQL queries in case of job failures with SQL issues.

4 Perform job restarts, holds, releases and emergency job run as needed.

5 Perform timely communication and coordination with L2 / L3 and all the associated Stakeholders and Change teams for unresolved issues

6 Provide the first level of support for user-related issues via ServiceNow ticketing system

7 Ability to work Independently as well as a part of team.

8 Contribute to Knowledge base updates and areas for process improvements

9 Support 24x7.

10 Strong ITIL Skills on Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management
