Senior Medical Licensing Specialist (Permanent Work-From-Home)
About the Role :
We are looking for a well-organized individual to assist with our licensing initiative to work full time during EST hours 9am-6pm EST Mon-Fri. The licensing specialist will be responsible for obtaining and completing the initial provider application for US state medical licenses. This role will require the individual to have a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Research and compile the appropriate application from the US State Medical Board based on the provider's need.
- Work alongside the provider to be sure all the necessary documentation needed for the application is obtained.
- Maintain a high level of communication with our providers throughout the licensure application process.
- Utilize task management software to maintain up to date on tasks.
- Is proficient in the end-to-end US licensing process for APRN, CRNP, DO, MD, Physician Asst, IMLC, and Behavioral health license applications of providers.
- Complete application fully and with careful attention to accuracy and detail; transmit to provider for review and approval.
- Handle online and paper-based application submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Request and complete the verifications that are required by the state medical board.
- Maintain follow-up with the state license board until the application has reached approval by the medical board.
- Demonstrated reliability, able to “close the loop” and complete requests in timely manner, including returning all contacts (calls and emails) within 24 hours, preferably by end of same business day
- Performs other duties assigned as required or requested
- Also knows about Credentialing, Enrolments and Contracting.
Requirements :
A minimum of 5 years of experience in licensing.Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.Proficiency in using portals and managing the associated documentation.Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with both clients and payers.Mandatory Requirements :
