Key Responsibilities :
As per the University of Mumbai regulations and SVKM policy, the Assistant Professor will be responsible for the following :
- Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in pharmaceutical sciences and related subjects.
- Design, develop, and implement innovative teaching methodologies aligned with the academic curriculum.
- Guide and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in their academic and research activities.
- Conduct original research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and present at academic conferences.
- Participate in curriculum development and syllabus revision activities.
- Engage in departmental and university-level administrative duties, committee work, and outreach initiatives.
- Maintain academic records and assist in examinations and evaluation processes.
Minimum Qualifications :
A Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever applicable) from an Indian or foreign university.The candidate must have cleared NET / SET conducted by UGC, CSIR, or an equivalent accredited test.ORCandidates who hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil / Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 , and their subsequent amendments, shall be exempted from NET / SET requirements.Desirable Qualities :
