Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Network Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in network management and monitoring. This role is designed for candidates who are eager to upskill into ITOM (IT Operations Management) Development within ServiceNow, combining network expertise with IT automation and orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively manage and monitor enterprise networks leveraging SolarWinds, Nagios, ServiceNow Discovery, and other ITOM tools to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve L2 / L3 network issues promptly.

Assist in mapping network devices and servers into CMDB.

Participate in ITOM workflow automation and integrations with network monitoring tools.

Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Security teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Document network configurations, processes, and ITOM workflows for internal knowledge management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on experience in network operations and monitoring.

Expertise in SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar monitoring tools.

Strong knowledge of LAN / WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.

Basic scripting skills (Python, Shell, or JavaScript).

Willingness to learn ServiceNow ITOM modules and workflow automation.

Certifications like CCNA / CCNP are a plus.
