We are calling all builders, problem solvers, and ex-founders. We are looking for a strategic leader to shape the future of learning at Wayground (formerly Quizizz).

While we are already used by teachers in 80%+ of international schools, we are at a critical inflection point. We are evolving from a formative assessment tool into a comprehensive supplemental content platform. The mission for this role is clear : take our massive footprint and drive monetization, scaling, and deep product adoption.

This is not a traditional sales or community role. It is a bridge between Growth, Product, and Go-to-Market (GTM)—ideal for a builder who loves data, collaborates across teams, and gets things done.

What you'll do...

  • Strategic growth & monetization :
  • Lead the transition from user engagement to revenue generation within the International Schools sector.
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies to scale Wayground’s new content offerings to existing and new school partners.
  • Identify high-leverage opportunities to grow Wayground’s presence and product adoption in the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge markets.
  • Product strategy & market fit :
  • Act as the voice of the market : Translate insights from schools into actionable product requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to ensure Wayground’s offerings align with the evolving needs of international educators.
  • Use a strong data-driven mindset to set goals, measure progress, and iterate on product-market fit quickly.
  • Ecosystem & partnerships :
  • Create and manage strategic partnerships with school groups (IB, Cambridge) to amplify reach.
  • Leverage our existing community to foster product advocates, but with a focus on strategic growth rather than just engagement.
  • Represent Wayground at key international conferences and high-impact speaking engagements to drive business development

Who you are...

  • You are an Ex-Founder, Ex-Chief of Staff, or have served in a Founder’s Office. You function best in high-agency environments.
  • You have a strong passion for education and a deep understanding of the International School ecosystem (IB / Cambridge), but you view it through a business and growth lens. (preferred)
  • Builder Mindset : You don't just manage processes; you build them from scratch.
  • Analytical : You possess a strong data-driven mindset and are capable of analyzing usage patterns to drive monetization.
  • Collaborative : You have the ability to work cross-functionally (Sales, Product, Marketing) to get things done.
  • Communicator : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you are confident presenting to diverse audiences, from teachers to school boards.
