Opportunity : VP- AI & Data Science

We are looking for a Senior Leader – AI & Data Science who is passionate about building real-world impact through artificial intelligence and data-driven innovation. This role offers the opportunity to define and lead Volo’s AI strategy , driving initiatives that have the potential to set new benchmarks for the industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary who believes in using AI not just as a tool, but as a catalyst to reimagine how businesses operate and customers experience health and insurance.

Key Responsibilities

Define and Lead AI Strategy – Develop and execute Volo’s AI vision and roadmap in alignment with business goals.

From Ideation to Scale – Take ideas from concept to measurable impact, driving change management, adoption, and business transformation.

Product-Led Innovation – Approach challenges with a product mindset, designing solutions that enhance customer and partner experiences across our ecosystem (members, insurers, brokers, providers).

Collaboration & Execution – Partner with business and technology teams to implement AI-driven solutions with a focus on measurable business outcomes.

Team Leadership – Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing AI and Data Science team; foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation.

AI-First Thinking – Drive adoption of AI-first processes and embed intelligent decision-making across business functions.

ROI & Business Impact – Establish clear metrics and frameworks to demonstrate the tangible impact of AI on key business performance indicators.

Desired Qualifications

Engineering background, preferably in Computer Science ; advanced certifications in AI / Data Science are a plus.

8–10+ years of experience in AI, data science, or analytics leadership roles.

Proven track record of end-to-end product or solution development — from 0→1, then scaling from 1→10 and beyond.

Strong understanding of software development processes, product development cycles, and agile methodologies.

Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
