Role Overview
We are seeking motivated Mechanical Engineering Interns to join our Project team. As an intern, you will work closely with our engineering and product teams to develop simulation models, perform powertrain analyses, and support system design and integration. This position offers hands-on exposure to both the analytical and practical aspects of EV powertrain development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate Simulink / Simscape / Stateflow models for vehicle and powertrain subsystems (e.g., drivetrain, battery, motor).
- Perform powertrain performance and efficiency analyses to support design decisions.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking of EV components and systems.
- Assist in concept design, CAD modeling, and packaging studies for mechanical subsystems.
- Support integration of electrical and mechanical components within packaging constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Basic understanding of electric powertrain components (motors, batteries, gearboxes).
- Prior experience in student competitions like Formula Student, Baja SAE preferred
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Mechatronics Engineering.Familiarity with MATLAB / Simulink and basic control system modeling.Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks / CATIA / Siemens NX).What You’ll Gain
