The Financial Accountant and Analyst
The Financial Accountant and Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic insights based on financial data analysis.
This role combines traditional accounting duties with financial analysis to support decision-making and improve financial Duties :
- Maintain general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (IGAAP and US GAAP).
- Manage accounts payable / receivable and oversee payroll processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax return preparation.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash Analysis :
- Analyse financial results, identify trends, and provide insights into business performance.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
- Conduct variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecast.
- Assist in preparing management reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Support business case development for new projects, investments, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with departments to gather financial data for analysis and Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Chartered Accountants.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting and / or financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
