SmartCOMM Developer - Template Development

Job Overview :

OpenTeQ Group is seeking a skilled and experienced SmartComm Developer to join our growing team in Chennai or Pune. As a SmartComm Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customer communication solutions using Smart Communications (SmartComm) platform. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of template design, data modeling, and enterprise system integrations.

This is a Work From Office (WFO) role offering opportunities to work on innovative projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams across enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Guidewire, and more.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain SmartComm templates and communication solutions to support business and customer requirements.
• Develop and manage data models within SmartComm to enable dynamic and personalized communications.
• Integrate SmartComm with enterprise platforms like Salesforce, Guidewire, and other backend systems.
• Work with XML, XSLT, JSON, and other data transformation formats to enable dynamic content rendering.
• Develop and consume SOAP / RESTful web services to support system integration and automation.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams in an Agile environment to deliver high quality communication assets.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of SmartComm applications, templates, and APIs.
• Follow development best practices and maintain documentation for all technical Skills & Experience :
• 4+ years of hands-on development experience with Smart Communications (SmartComm).
• Strong proficiency in template development, data modeling, and SmartComm design components.
• Proven integration experience with enterprise systems like Salesforce, Guidewire, etc.
• Expertise in XML, XSLT, JSON, and web services (SOAP / REST).
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
