Job description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Software Test Engineer based in Hubli. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for executing test cases, conducting comprehensive software testing to identify and document issues, and ensuring the functionality and quality of software. The role involves developing and maintaining test cases, collaborating with the software development team for quality assurance, and contributing to optimizing testing processes.

Responsiblities

  • He / she will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by conducting various types of testing, identifying issues and ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards.
  • Manual Testing : Knowledge of creating and executing test cases, bug tracking and reporting.
  • Automated Testing : Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium).
  • Testing Tools : Proficiency with bug tracking tools and test management tools.
  • Test Case Design : Ability to design test cases based on requirements and design specifications.
  • Performance Testing : Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with at least 2 years of experience in manual / automation testing.
  • Communication Skills : Clear communication in reporting bugs, interacting with developers and conveying issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration : Ability to work well with developers, product managers and other team members.
  • Time Management : The ability to prioritise and manage multiple testing tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and processes is an added plus.
  • Ability to work productively in a dynamic, priority-shifting, deadline-driven environment.
