A Sales Coordinator supports a company's sales team by handling administrative tasks, coordinating sales-related activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They serve as a vital link between the sales team, clients, and other internal departments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and process sales orders, quotes, and invoices.
- Maintain and update customer databases (e.g., CRM systems).
- Organize and schedule sales meetings or appointments.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
- Follow up on sales leads and ensure timely delivery of products / services.
- Provide after-sales support and resolve customer complaints.
- Liaise between sales representatives and internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance).
- Track sales targets and report on team performance.
- Assist with the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance metrics.
- Analyze sales trends and provide input for sales strategies.
