Sr. Software Engineer - Citrix Systems Administrator

In this role, you will be responsible for below:

• Administration and maintenance of Citrix infrastructure (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Netscaler)
• Planning, implementation, and optimization of Citrix solutions
• Administration and operation of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
• Monitoring and maintaining server, network, and system performance
• Ensuring system availability, stability, and performance
• Performing error analysis and troubleshooting in Citrix and related environments
• Supporting the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies and measures
• Collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to ensure smooth application integration and support
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and manuals using tools like Jira and Confluence
  

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in IT system administration, with a strong focus on Citrix environments
• Deep knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Netscaler, and Citrix Provisioning Services
• Proven experience in managing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
• Solid understanding of network protocols and infrastructure
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware
• Familiarity with security best practices and security solution implementation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Proactive and self-motivated attitude
  

Professional Attributes :

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Exposure to German language/culture is a plus.
• Experience in working with global stakeholders and ability to work with intercultural teams.
• Extensive experience collaborating in SCRUM-based Agile teams.
• Flexibility to work according to German time zones.
• Available for short-term international travel for meetings, training, and project activities.
