Mainframe Developer

Desired Experience : 7 to 10 Years

Job Locations : Bangalore

Job Description :

7 + years of hands-on experience in Mainframe development

Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM and IMS DB / DC.

Knowledge of Mainframe Utilities (Panvalet, Endevor, IDCAMS, SORT, etc.) and scheduling tools (CA7,Control-M)

Familiarity with API enablement, microservice integration or mainframe modernization initiatives.

Experience working in a multi-shore model (onsite-offshore), with excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities :

Ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles.

Translate business requirements and user stories into technical design documents and specifications.

Conduct technical design and code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and compliance with platform best practices.

Act as the "go-to" technical expert for complex development issues, providing hands-on coding and debugging support when necessary.

Lead the Development process using the standard mainframe tools.
