Senior Python API Developer

ABOUT THE COMPANY : One of our Customer based in CA, USA ( ROI-AI), founded by Ex- Google DeepMind is building an AI-powered platform for automating chargeback dispute management in wholesale and retail distribution. The platform will help analysts reduce manual work by 90% through intelligent document parsing, evidence assembly, and workflow automation.

ROI-AI is a seed-stage startup with a solid technical foundation and early customer traction, looking to expand the engineering team to complete our MVP and scale.

About the Role

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our small, fast-moving team. You'll work on core systems that process chargebacks, manage cases, and integrate with financial services infrastructure. This is a high-impact role where your work directly affects product delivery and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services in Python (Fast API)
• Build and maintain APIs that power our web applications
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and optimize query performance
• Develop integrations with third-party services (payment processors, email, S3)
• Implement financial calculations with precision and auditability
• Write tests and maintain high code quality standards
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on API contracts and system design
• Contribute to infrastructure tooling and deployment pipelines

Compensation : The compensation offered for this role will be at the prevailing best market rate. You will be working from Noida and your Manager will be based in California, USA.
