Job Title

Junior Architect – Façade Design, Detailing & Working Drawings (Fresher)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and committed fresher architect to support our façade design and technical documentation team. The role involves preparing precise working drawings, façade details, and assisting senior architects throughout the design-to-execution process. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys highly technical work, construction detailing, and close collaboration with experienced architects.

Key Responsibilities

Façade Design Support

Assist in developing façade concepts, design iterations, and material studies.
Support preparation of façade layouts, elevations, and system details.

Technical Drawings & Detailing

Prepare highly accurate working drawings , façade detail sheets, and fabrication-ready documentation.

Translate design intent into practical, buildable details under the guidance of senior architects.

Update drawings based on review comments, site inputs, and coordination requirements.

Maintain drawing standards, layer conventions, and documentation quality.

Project Coordination

Work closely with architects to understand design requirements and translate them into detailed drawings.

Coordinate and communicate with site teams, structural consultants, and design leads as needed.

Site Exposure

Participate in occasional site visits for measurements, façade mock-up reviews, and installation understanding.

Document site observations and communicate issues or deviations to senior architects.

Quality & Documentation Management

Ensure precision, clarity, and consistency in all drawings and detail sheets.

Maintain updated drawing logs, revisions, and documentation records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).

Strong interest in façade systems, construction details, and working drawings .

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

Basic knowledge of SketchUp or similar 3D tools (a plus).

Understanding of materials such as ACP, glass, metal, stone, and façade finishes is an advantage.

Good aptitude for geometry, accuracy, and technical drafting.

Ability to comprehend architectural drawings, sections, and design intent.
