Job Title : Android Engineer (Kotlin + Flutter)

Location : Remote

Employment Type : Full-Time

Experience Level : 2–3 Years

We are seeking a skilled Android Engineer with strong expertise in Kotlin and hands-on experience in Flutter to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing high-performance Android applications, while also contributing to cross-platform initiatives using Flutter.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin .
  • Build and optimize cross-platform mobile features using Flutter (Dart).
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Stay updated with the latest Android and Flutter ecosystem trends.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in Android development.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin (primary language for Android development).
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart.
  • Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, etc.).
  • Experience with Flutter state management (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or GetX).
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of material design principles and responsive UI development.
  • Experience with testing frameworks : JUnit, Espresso (Android), flutter_test (Flutter).

    • Required Skills

  • Published apps on Google Play Store.
  • Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics).
  • Knowledge of dependency injection (Hilt / Dagger, Koin).
  • Familiarity with reactive programming (Coroutines, Flow, RxJava).
  • Contributions to open-source projects or personal Flutter / Android apps.
