Head of Finance

Investment Management :

Oversee and manage investments across various asset classes including public equities alternative investments debt and real estate.

Monitor and evaluate the performance of the investment portfolio providing regular reports to stakeholders.

Financial Planning & Analysis :

Develop and execute comprehensive fund planning strategies for multiple entities within the family office.

Provide in-depth business finance analytics to inform investment decisions and strategic planning.

Prepare and present Management Information Systems (MIS) reports on financial performance and investment analysis.

Cash and Liquidity Management :

Manage multiple bank accounts efficiently ensuring effective liquidity management across funds.

Implement robust cash flow forecasting models to optimize operational capital and investment opportunities.

Establish effective procedures for monitoring daily cash positions and ensuring funds are appropriately allocated.

Tax Efficiency & Compliance :

Guide tax planning strategies to maximize tax efficiency across investments and structures.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and tax obligations for all entities involved.

Work closely with external tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and ensure timely filing.

Relationship Management :

Build and maintain strong relationships with private wealth management teams banks and other financial institutions.

Act as the primary contact for banking relationships ensuring smooth banking operations and transaction processing.

Negotiate banking terms and service agreements to ensure favorable conditions for the family office.

Efficiency & Process Improvement :

Continuously seek out improvements in financial processes and reporting systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Implement best practices for financial management and reporting to streamline operations across all accounts.

Develop a centralized reporting system for investment performance to maintain a comprehensive view of the family offices financial health.

Strategic Oversight :

Maintain a birds eye view of all investments ensuring alignment with overall family office strategies and objectives.

Collaborate with the executive team in strategic planning and decision-making related to financial investments.

Analyze market trends and economic conditions to forecast potential impacts on investment performance.

Risk Management :

Identify financial and operational risks associated with the family office investments and propose mitigation strategies.

Establish and monitor compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards.

Develop risk management policies that support sustainable investment practices.

Team Leadership :

Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of transparency accountability and professional growth.

Provide training and development opportunities to finance staff to enhance skills and knowledge.

Ensure that all financial operations align with the family offices core values and objectives.
