Medior Python Developer

Job descriptionDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure web applications using Python and Django . Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems. Work on backend logic, data models, and database architecture . Participate in system design discussions , technical planning, and code reviews. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams for seamless integration. Debug and resolve complex issues across production and development environments. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security . 3+ years of professional experience in Python development with a strong grasp of Django . Solid understanding of backend fundamentals - request / response lifecycle, middleware, ORM, etc. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code. Proficiency in API development concepts , versioning, and documentation. Experience in database design - relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL), indexes, normalization, and query optimization. Exposure to system design principles and scalable architectures. Familiarity with version control systems like Git . Understanding of unit testing , debugging, and performance monitoring.
