Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the senior accountants in the preparation of tax returns.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Assist with audits and provide support to auditors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
