SAP PPDS Consultant – Experienced in PP / DS, DP, and SNP | Hands-on Individual Contributor & Team Collaborator

Summary :

Seasoned SAP PPDS professional with strong expertise in Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling, Demand Planning (DP), and Supply Network Planning (SNP). Demonstrated ability to work hands-on as an individual contributor or as part of cross-functional teams. Skilled in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, integration, and end-to-end implementation of SAP PPDS processes.

Key Responsibilities & Expertise :

• Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable PPDS processes, and recommend best practices for production planning and scheduling.
• Configure, implement, and support SAP PPDS functionalities including Heuristics, Optimization, Detailed Scheduling strategies , and CIF (Core Interface) .
• Strong understanding of CIF for seamless master data and transactional data transfer between ECC / S4 and APO / PPDS systems.
• Expertise in ECC-PP Master Data (Production Versions, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers) and APO Master Data (Setup Matrix, planning parameters, parallel processing, etc.).
• Configure key PPDS components such as Planning Board, DS Board, Profiles, Alerts, and PPDS Subcontracting processes .
• Create and maintain documentation including test results, configuration details, design specifications, and knowledge-sharing assets.
• Lead and support workshops, SIT / UAT testing, user training , and post-go-live Hypercare activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with modules such as MM, PP , and support data migration ensuring completeness and accuracy of PPDS-relevant data.
• Manage project deliverables within defined timelines, coordinating with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders for successful implementations and smooth execution.
