Principal Apache Flink Engineer at BairesDev

We are seeking a Principal Apache Flink Engineer to drive technical vision and architecture for distributed stream processing systems. You'll influence Flink ecosystem strategy, design scalable platforms, and guide technical direction for the organization's streaming solutions.

What You'll Do :

• Contribute actively to Apache Flink and related open source projects as a core contributor.
• Define architecture and optimize large-scale streaming pipelines with stateful processing.
• Lead strategies for checkpointing, state management, fault tolerance, and high-throughput streaming.
• Drive integration strategies with Kafka, Hive, Iceberg, and other systems.
• Provide technical vision and leadership across teams, influencing roadmap, best practices, and Flink ecosystem contributions.
