About the Role :
We're looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant with 4- 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing, configuring, and supporting D365 solutions, with a strong focus on either Finance & Operations (F&O) or Customer Engagement (CE) modules. You'll work closely with clients to understand their business processes, translate them into functional requirements, and deliver tailored D365 solutions that drive efficiency and growth.
Responsibilities :
- Requirements Gathering : Conduct workshops and interviews with clients to understand their business processes, challenges, and goals. Document and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
- Solution Design & Configuration : Translate business requirements into a comprehensive solution design. Configure D365 modules and features to meet client needs, including security roles, workflows, business rules, and forms.
- Implementation : Lead and participate in all phases of the implementation lifecycle, from project planning and analysis to go-live and post-implementation support.
- Testing & Training : Develop and execute test plans (e.g., UAT, regression testing) to ensure the solution meets all requirements. Create training materials and conduct user training sessions to ensure a smooth transition and user adoption.
- Support & Maintenance : Provide ongoing support for D365 applications, troubleshoot issues, and manage system updates and enhancements.
- Collaboration : Work effectively with technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Documentation : Maintain clear and concise documentation of all configurations, customizations, and processes.
Key Skills & Qualifications :
Experience : 4- 8 years of experience as a Functional Consultant with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365.Module Expertise : Demonstrated expertise in either D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain Management, Project Management & Accounting) or D365 Customer Engagement (CE) (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing).Certifications : Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-500, MB-210, MB-230, etc.) are highly desirable.Soft Skills : Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.Project Lifecycle : Solid understanding of the Sure Step or similar agile / waterfall implementation methodologies.Technical Acumen : While this is a functional role, a basic understanding of D365 development tools, data migration techniques, and integration points (e.g., Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps) is a plus(ref : hirist.tech)
