Software Engineer in Test

Job Title : SDET-QA (WebdiverIO)

Experience : 8+ years (Min)

Work Mode : Hybrid ( 3 days WFO )

Work Location : Chennai / Mumbai / Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities

Take complete ownership of test automation strategy and execution across API, app, and UI layers.

Work closely with engineering, product, and UX teams; participate in daily stand-ups and QA planning.

Automate complex stateful API and UI workflows, including authentication, session management, and webhooks.

Design tests that address OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and prevent potential exploits.

Automate testing for hybrid and native mobile applications.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of

WebdriverIO , preferably with the

Mocha

framework.

Expertise in

JavaScript / TypeScript .

Knowledge and hands-on experience with the

Appium

framework.

Expertise in

API automation

using any JavaScript library.

Strong experience with

Appium, JavaScript, NodeJS, Mocha, WebdriverIO

(3+ years).

Familiarity with

JIRA, Postman, and Figma

for ticket management and requirement validation.

Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and high attention to detail.

Ability to work primarily in

AEST

timezone.
