Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager , you will be the primary Point of Contact (POC) for driving company partnerships at large @ and business development initiatives in your city.
Your mission :
Build strategic relationships with organisations for Cloud Counselages B2B offerings @
Generate leads, conduct outreach, and set up meetings for the CRO or senior leadership
Represent Cloud Counselage in your city for all corporate engagement, partnership, and client acquisition efforts
Additionally, support B2C sales activities for employability programs when required
This is a high-ownership, growth-oriented role for ambitious professionals passionate about sales, partnerships, and purpose-driven business expansion.
Job Responsibilities :
1. Lead Generation & Market Development
- Research and identify potential partner companies across industries
- Build and manage a strong B2B sales pipeline through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking
- Generate qualified leads and set up discovery meetings for the CRO or Leadership Team
2. Partnership Development
Present Cloud Counselages B2B offerings effectively to senior leadership teams of client companiesEstablish and nurture long-term relationships to drive partnerships and sponsorshipsRepresent the company in meetings and act as the face of Cloud Counselage in your assigned city3. On-Ground Business Development
Conduct on-site meetings and visits to potential client offices or partner eventsFix and coordinate local meetings for the CRO and leadership teamIdentify local networking or business events for client prospecting4. Collaboration & Reporting
Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, and HR) to align messaging and partnership proposalsMaintain accurate data and progress in the company CRMProvide regular updates and insights to the CRO / Leadership5. B2C Sales Support (As Required)
Assist in lead generation, outreach, and conversions for B2C programsSupport local roadshows, expos, and community events that attract student or professional participationKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)

1-5 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, or PartnershipsProven track record in B2B partnership developmentExperience in EdTech, HRTech, Consulting sector preferredEducation : Diploma / Bachelors / Masters in Business, Marketing, or related fieldFamiliarity with platforms such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and basic CRM tools.Working laptop and stable internet connection (mandatory)Membership of the Industry Academia Community (IAC) sign up atQualities
