We are seeking Lighting Artist to join our growing games team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Leads, and other departments to create visually compelling and optimized lighting for in-game environments and cinematics. You will contribute both artistically and technically to achieve the highest-quality lighting results while maintaining consistency and performance across various projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Create high-quality, consistent lighting for in-game environments, characters, and cinematics in collaboration with the art and design teams.
Work under the direction of the Lighting Lead and Supervisor to implement artistic and technical lighting solutions.
Ensure lighting aligns with the project’s artistic vision, mood, and gameplay requirements.
Address feedback and notes from Leads and Supervisors, ensuring timely revisions and delivery.
Optimize lighting setups for performance without compromising visual quality.
Contribute to look development, shading, and color grading as required.
Maintain shot and scene continuity while ensuring artistic consistency across assets and levels.
Collaborate with other departments (Environment, FX, and Technical Art) to ensure seamless integration of lighting in the overall pipeline
3+ years of experience as a Lighting Artist(Unreal) in the games or VFX industry.
Strong artistic understanding of lighting, color theory, and composition.
Solid technical understanding of lighting and shading workflows within Unreal Engine, with experience in Unity considered a plus. Familiarity with real-time rendering, optimization, and performance profiling.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.
Experience using Unreal Engine lighting tools (Lumen, Lightmass, etc.)
