Job Description
We are seeking an Account Manager – Finance (General) to manage and execute core financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions. This role covers Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Profit & Loss (P&L) management, payroll, taxation, and statutory compliance. B2B industry experience is compulsory; e-commerce experience is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting & P&L Management
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Track and report on key financial metrics, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Payroll Administration
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to employee compensation and benefits.
- Taxation & Compliance
- Manage all direct and indirect tax matters, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings.
- Ensure adherence to Indian accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities as required.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Oversee AR / AP
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Monitor budget adherence and highlight deviations with recommendations.
- Process Improvement & Technology Integration
- Continuously review and improve accounting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Leverage accounting and financial management software for automation and reporting.
- Internal Controls & Audit
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, procurement, HR) to support business objectives and resolve financial queries.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA is required.4 to 8years of experience in accounting and financial management
