Roles & responsibilities

• Source and manage suppliers for plastic and rubber parts and raw materials.
• Negotiate prices, delivery timelines and contract terms.
• Build strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
• Conduct audits and evaluate supplier performance regularly.
• Work with design and technical teams to issue RFQs and review quotes.
• Support supplier selection based on cost, quality, and technical fit.
• Review and validate BOMs with engineering and production teams.
• Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, Quality, Production, Finance) to align sourcing with project goals.
• Drive cost savings through alternate sourcing, value engineering and supplier consolidation.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
