About The Role

NASDAQ is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Specialist Enterprise Performance Management Technical to join its Bangalore technology center. This role requires deep expertise in the Anaplan product suite and a strong background in enterprise performance management (EPM). As part of the Enterprise Solutions team, you will play a critical role in delivering complex technical systems that support NASDAQ's financial processes and operations. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and optimizing Anaplan models, integrating various planning and forecasting systems, and providing strategic technical guidance to internal stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team dedicated to building state-of-the-art corporate software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support NASDAQ's global growth initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in software development and configuration within the EPM space, with a strong focus on finance processes such as month-end close, planning, and forecasting. A comprehensive understanding of Anaplan architecture, modules, and functionalities is essential, including proficiency in Anaplan modeling, data modeling, and formula creation using AFL. Experience with SQL, APIs, and data connectors for system integration is required. Candidates should have a solid grasp of accounting processes, including consolidations, allocations, and intercompany eliminations, and be skilled in developing and optimizing planning and forecasting models at both corporate and business unit levels. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary for effective stakeholder engagement and executive-level presentations. A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields is mandatory, along with experience working within Agile project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute cross-functional projects across global teams, delivering critical solutions to support NASDAQ's finance and operational processes.
• Design and develop scalable Anaplan models, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
• Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and governance for the development and deployment of enterprise performance management solutions.
• Evaluate external software packages, conduct ROI analyses, and recommend future system integrations or upgrades.
• Proactively identify issues within existing EPM configurations and develop innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Develop and deliver executive-level architecture presentations, providing insights into platform capabilities and strategic roadmaps.
• Integrate Anaplan with other enterprise systems, leveraging APIs and data connectors to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and maintainability, supporting NASDAQ's global operational needs.
