Position Summary :
The Manager – Admissions & Outreach will be responsible for leading student enrolment and institutional outreach initiatives for Chandigarh University. This role combines strategic planning, field execution, relationship management, and operational oversight to meet regional enrolment targets while strengthening the university’s brand visibility across India.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions & Lead Management
- Drive student enrolment across assigned programmes through direct and indirect channels (tele-counselling, in-person visits, online sessions).
- Manage the complete admissions funnel from enquiry to enrolment, ensuring efficient conversion and timely follow-ups.
- Utilize CRM and other data systems to maintain accurate records of leads, applications, and enrolments.
- Coordinate with internal admissions and marketing teams to align campaigns and processes.
2. Outreach & Engagement
Build and nurture relationships with schools, coaching centres, career counsellors, and educational influencers.Plan, organize, and execute outreach activities such as education fairs, seminars, webinars, and school / college visits.Develop new initiatives to enhance the university’s visibility and reputation in assigned regions.Represent the university at regional and national educational events.3. Territory & Field Operations
Travel extensively within assigned territories to promote programmes and engage with target audiences.Identify new markets or segments for outreach and admissions expansion.Establish and maintain strategic partnerships to drive student acquisition.4. Coordination, Reporting & Analysis
Track key admissions metrics such as lead volume, conversion rate, and enrolment growth.Submit periodic performance and progress reports to leadership.Provide market insights and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.Collaborate cross-functionally with academic and marketing departments for integrated outreach campaigns.Qualifications & Experience
Education : Bachelor’s degree (mandatory);MBA or postgraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or Education preferred.
Experience : Minimum 8 years in admissions, business development, or sales within the education sector (preferably higher education).Proven track record of achieving enrolment and outreach targets.Experience in managing regional operations and partnerships will be an added advantage.Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Hindi).Strong presentation and public-speaking abilities.Relationship-building and networking expertise.Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and data reporting.Target-oriented with a result-driven approach.Strategic thinker with strong execution and organisational skills.Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends or events.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
