Research Analyst – Business & Reputation Intelligence

Role Overview

As a Research Analyst at First Chatter , you will transform raw data into actionable intelligence. Your job is to decode media, social, and market chatter — turning it into clear, contextual insights that help business leaders anticipate risks, spot opportunities, and make better decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor brand, competitor, customer, and policy-related chatter across media and social sources.
Identify emerging issues, trends, and strategic signals.
Connect data points into narratives that explain what it means for client business outcomes.
Produce branded reports and briefs (First Alerts, First Lens, First Signals, etc.).
Collaborate with Data Managers to refine source coverage and analysis quality.

Ideal Candidate

Background in business research, communications, economics, or international relations.

Strong analytical writing skills with the ability to produce concise, executive-ready insights.

Comfortable working with large volumes of secondary information and extracting what matters.

Passion for connecting brand, customer, competitor, and macro perspectives.
