Role Overview

We’re looking for a Remote Java Developer to join our backend engineering team. You’ll play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
Build and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to microservice architecture.
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
Work with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
Ensure code quality, scalability, and security across systems.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong command over Java (Core + Advanced), Spring Boot, and Hibernate / JPA.

Experience developing REST APIs and working with JSON / XML data formats.

Sound understanding of OOPs, data structures, and algorithms.

Familiarity with Git, CI / CD, and collaborative tools.

Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases.

Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS / GCP) or Docker is a plus.

Good to Have

Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.

Prior work experience with distributed teams or US-based clients.

Compensation

INR 12-18 LPA (Exceptions possible for outstanding candidates)

Working days and shifts :

Monday to Friday with US Client Overlap (11 am to 8pm)
